BEAD Program
The Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program is a transformative initiative by the federal government to ensure every American has access to reliable, high-speed internet. It aims to close the digital divide by prioritizing funding for broadband infrastructure in unserved and underserved areas.
Our Role
We are dedicated to advancing the goals of the BEAD program with our BABAA-compliant, fiber optic solutions. Designed for robust, scalable networks, we cater to both rural and urban broadband deployments.
Through partnerships with ISPs, municipalities, and contractors, we tailor our offerings while emphasizing domestic manufacturing and job creation.
BEAD Compliant Solutions
Fiber Node Cable (FTTN)
Fiber Node Cable (FTTN)
In an FTTN network, the fiber optic cables are run to a central location, often called a node, which serves a group of customers within a certain area. From the node, the signal is transmitted to the individual customer premises using traditional copper or coaxial cables
Flat Drop (FTTH)
Flat Drop (FTTN)
FTTH fiber optic drop cables are laid out at the user’s end and used to connect the terminal of the backbone optical cable to the user’s building or house. It is characterized by small size, low fiber count, and a support span of about 80m. It is common for overhead and pipeline construction, and it is not common for underground or buried installation.
Fiber Jumper/Fiber Patch
Fiber Jumper/Fiber Patch
A fiber jumper, sometimes called a fiber patch cord, is a length of fiber cabling fitted with connectors at each end. They are used to connect end devices or network hardware.
MTP/MPO Trunk Cables
MTP/MPO Trunk Cables
MTP® is the acronym for Multi-fiber Termination Push-on, which is a registered trademark of US Conec. The MTP® connector is a high performance MPO connector. Multi-fiber push on connectors, or MPOs for short, are fiber connectors comprised of multiple optical fibers. While defined as an array connector having more than 2 fibers, MPO Connectors are typically available with 8, 12 or 24 fibers for common data center and LAN applications
Fiber Trunk Cables
Fiber Trunk Cables
Fiber trunks are pre-terminated cable assemblies connecting switches, servers, patch panels, and zone distribution areas in the data center, or serving as the backbone of enterprise fiber networks. When compared to field-terminated cabling, there are many reasons to consider pre-terminated optical fiber trunks.
